Boccamonte

for Konfekt magazine

Designed and built in the 1960s by architect Luisa Castiglioni following modernist principles, Boccamonte is a house spanning three independent levels, nestled within a private forest of pines and holm oaks. Perched on the Montemarcello hillside (Liguria, Italy), it offers sweeping views over the Magra River and the Apuan Alps. A meeting point for artists, publishers, poets and friends for over forty years, the space once again becomes a place to rethink contemporary life through the work of Luisa’s granddaughter, Maddalena Scarzella and her partner Matteo Petrucci.
